Soul Tie Breaking Ritual (Tuwo)

Soul ties are deep and invisible connections between two people. These ties can form for many reasons, such as sexual encounters, shared experiences, or strong emotions. Soul ties create a sense of familiarity and understanding between two people, often leading to a feeling of closeness that can be difficult to break. They can also have an effect on the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of those involved.

In the case of two consenting individuals who desire to be together, soul ties can be healthy connections. However, in the case of ill-fated connections, soul ties can be very dangerous. They can result in negative emotions, lost love, financial and other opportunities, or a diminished sense of self-worth. Oftentimes soul ties result in obsessive thoughts or an inability to resist an individual sexually. If any of these symptoms are plaguing you, it’s time to break the ties that bind you to another.

In the Ifa tradition, this process is known as tuwo or tude. It involves ritual work designed to stop an individual from going back to previous sexual partners and/or obsessively thinking about them. In certain instances, this is a stand-alone ritual, and in other cases, the individual is required to consume Akose (sacred herbs).
