Enter the fire and thunder of Shàngó, the legendary king and divine force of justice, lightning, and cosmic power. In this transformative course, we uncover the deeper mythology of Shàngó and explore his role as both warrior and ruler within the Yorùbá spiritual tradition. From his historic reign in Ọ̀yọ́ to his ascension into the spiritual realm, we examine Shàngó’s story through the lens of balance, leadership, and divine law.
We explore how his myth teaches essential lessons about power, pride, consequence, and transformation. Through his connection to thunder, the Bàtá drum, his double-headed axe, and his relationships with Oba, Oshun, and Oya, we reveal the multidimensional wisdom encoded in his path.
This course includes:
- A rich interpretation of Shàngó’s myth and how it reflects justice, ego, courage, and personal evolution
- A full breakdown of his acceptable offerings, sacrifices, non-life force offerings, and taboos, including a demonstration on how to honor him properly
- Powerful incantations in Yorùbá and English to invoke Shàngó’s energy in rituals and personal empowerment
Whether you are stepping into the spiritual path or looking to deepen your relationship with this force of divine justice, this course calls you to walk with clarity, courage, and spiritual strength alongside Shàngó.
