Full Moon in Sagittarius Astrology | June 3, 2023

Full Moon June 2023

On June 3, 2023, we will experience a full moon at 13 degrees of Sagittarius. It will impact individuals with planets and positions between 8-18 degrees of this sign in their natal charts the most. But it will likewise influence individuals with planets in Aries, Leo, Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces at the same degrees. Full moon phases are a great time to conduct release rituals to let go of the old and make way for the new. They are also great times to harness the moon’s power in other beneficial ways.

We begin this transit with Jupiter in Taurus conjunct True Node in Taurus. This will bring a lot of positive energy to the full moon cycle during the month of June. Full moon phases are generally explosive cycles and can be filled with drama. But we will have a great deal of helpful energy as both Mercury and Ceres will have just turned direct. These turn of events and other positive planetary movements during this time will set us up for a pleasurable but spicy full moon cycle.

Expanding Ideologies

The full moon in Sagittarius is the peak of the lunar cycle and is associated with deep spiritual energy. It represents a time of transformation, growth, and impactful change. Sagittarius rules the ninth house of philosophy, ideologies, belief, faith, and other aspects. The full moon in this sign will surely put us in risk-taking mode. Sagittarius is also expansive and optimistic, ready to move beyond boundaries and limitations. So, get ready for the envelope to be pushed in your favor.

There will be an emphasis on second and fifth-house activities during this period. Astrological events two days before and after the moon illuminates in Sag will have many testing boundaries in their material existence. Jupiter and True Node will send many blessings to our house of romance, finance, and health to help us move toward our soul mission. That means you may see the culmination of your efforts in these areas pay off handsomely. This is especially if you have been directing your thoughts, prayers, and beliefs in these areas lately.

Some may feel the urge to travel beyond their borders to find long-lasting love or an unconventional interlude. Others may see that drastic or risky measures they have taken to enhance their financial potential start to pay off. Either way, our ideals and beliefs might be triggered in some way, causing us to shed or overcome limitations. This energy will propel us forward in bold, brave new ways while the full moon is in Sag during June 2023.

Venus in Leo

On June 5th, Venus enters Leo for even more explosive, passionate, and fiery energy. Venus in Leo signifies a strong desire for attention and appreciation—one that’s meant to be expressed with confidence, openness, and joy. Venus is known for creating a powerful connection between two people, especially when positioned in Leo. So, expect to enjoy strong impulses towards romantic relationships that are emotionally intense yet fun-filled during this time.

Since Venus likewise rules finances, health, and beauty, we can also expect a strong impact in this area. As such, when Venus is placed in Leo, it brings luck and abundance to those influenced by this energy. You may find that you have a strong ability to attract wealth at this time and the fortitude to make wise investment decisions. You may also find yourself wanting to live it up, spending lavishly on yourself or a partner. Or you may be taking greater risks on investments during this season.

Last Quarter Moon in Pisces

On June 10th, the moon will transition into the sign of Pisces during its last quarter phase. This will give us time to reflect and contemplate. It will cool down much of the fiery energy we encountered during the first week of this full moon cycle. This aspect will help us to tap into our intuition and create meaningful change. And it will be the perfect time to reconnect with our innermost selves and gain a deeper understanding of our feelings.

This period can be used to reflect on the past, plan for the future, and find inner peace and growth. By connecting with our innermost selves, we can gain knowledge that will help us make our lives better in the long run. With this understanding, we can make the most of this period by taking time to reflect on our emotions and thoughts. And doing so will be vital after a period of emotional intensity with the influence of very fiery, passionate energies over the last week.

Pluto Retrograde Enters Capricorn

Pluto began its retrograde cycle in Aquarius at the beginning of May. Starting June 11th, it will enter Capricorn and stay there until Oct 10th. This major transition period will influence us for years to come. Since I discussed this transit in a separate post, suffice it to say that we can expect a period of deep transformation and reflection during this time. During this transit, we will be inclined to take time to examine the impact of changes in our career sector. Additionally, we will focus on ways we have been disciplined or undisciplined and the influence of such behaviors on our lives.

Mercury in Gemini

Before we close this full moon cycle, Mercury will enter its home sign of Gemini on the same day. We will focus on communication, networking, and connecting with people during this transit. This energy can impact almost every aspect of our lives. However, our career sector and professional growth will be the highlight during this phase. So you may find yourself communicating about these dynamics more so than usual over the next month or so.

Saturn Retrograde in Pisces

Finally, Saturn will retrograde in Pisces a day before the next new moon cycle on June 17th. And this activity will come at the start of Saturn’s transit through this sign over the next three years or so. Saturn is restrictive, while Pisces is watery and fluid, so this retrograde will be quite interesting. During this period, we may feel a sense of stagnation or confusion as we grapple with changes happening in our lives. We may also find ourselves feeling overwhelmed by the choices that need to be made. But more on this in a separate post.
